I use blades—not stars—to express a clear editorial conclusion without false numerical precision. I consider airflow and performance, noise, installation, features, build and design, and value.

A fan I can confidently recommend. Strong overall performance, thoughtful design, good installation characteristics, and few meaningful drawbacks.
3 Blades · Good
A solid fan, but with compromises or applications where another model may be a better choice.
2 Blades · Mediocre
Usable, but meaningful shortcomings make it difficult to recommend over better alternatives.
1 Blade · Don't Buy
Significant performance, design, installation, reliability, or value concerns make another option preferable.
